Jellypark Juniors - Top 3 - Challenge 2

Hello again mini crafters and a big thank you for sharing all of your fabulous creations with us last month.
We had some beautiful entries which is so lovely to see.

The 1st place prize for Challenge 2 offered up by the lovely Ruth was some crafty goodies if you lived in the U.K or a digi stamp from the Jellypark Store if you are outside the UK.

The kids from artycraftyland tried to pick a winner but they couldn't agree so we decided on a random pick for the winner again, no dartboards this time we just got their dad to choose a number between 1-23, he had no idea why, but played along, he chose Number 14 :o)

Therefore our Top 3 are:-

We're going on a blog hop.....

It's going to be a fun one! Jellypark are having a charity blog hop. The hop starts over at the Jellypark Challenge Blog where there's a list of all the blogs to visit. Lots of DT members past and present are taking part and there is some blog candy on the way :o). If you arrived here from Heide then you're on the right track if not pop back to the Jellypark Challenge Blog and start from there.

The kids from artycraftyland are so excited to take part in their first blog hop. They each picked one of the Little Havens charity images to use and here is what they came up with.

Ben used the image which was created for our first challenge winner.

Every penny from the sale of these stamps goes to the Little Havens Charity which is such a worthwhile cause.

The stamps are available to purchase from the Jellypark Store.

A quick update

There's only 3 days left to enter our current challenge :o).

This is just a quick post to let you know that there will be a slight delay in posting the winners of challenge 2 and the new challenge information. This is due to a blog hop over at the main Jellypark Challenge Blog, the Jellypark Juniors site is a stop on the hop, the kids from artycraftyland are so excited about it, they've been busy creating cards. The hop is to showcase the charity images available from the store and will last throughout the weekend.

The winners and challenge 3 post will now be done on Monday 5th March instead.

I hope that you will all hop along, hop, hop, hop.

Challenge 2 only 9 days left

We've got some amazing entries already for this challenge a huge well done you wonderful crafty kids. Only 9 days left to get your entries in for this challenge.

Do you all remember what the prize was for the first challenge.... the winner got to design a new stamp for the Jellypark Store and to name it. That stamp would then be sold in the store to raise money for the Little Havens Charity.

P.K won the challenge and she chose a stamp which represented her and her sister and brothers and here is what Claire came up with, how utterly gorgeous is this....

I think we can safely say Claire is an artistic genius lol and I can't wait to start creating with it.

Jellypark Juniors - Challenge Number 2

Good morning everyone and a very happy Saturday to you all. I can't believe it's time for the 2nd Jellypark Juniors challenge already, but it is whoopee.

Scroll down to the post below for the winner and runners up of our 1st challenge. I had to split the posts as the winners post ended up being quite long.

This months challenge is going to be another Anything Goes and that means we'd love to see jewellery, models, sewing, knitting, papercrafts in fact anything crafty.

Rules are in the sidebar this isn't school so I won't bore you with them in this post.

For this months challenge there will be a crafty little prize (pic below) for the winner courtesy of my lovely Jellypark DT buddy Ruth (UK only).
If the winner is from outside the UK then they will receive a Jellypark Digital image as a prize.

We also have personalised blog badges for the Top 3 or certificates for email entries.

We had a crafty weekend last weekend and one of the kids from artycraftyland ie Holly made a couple of cards, one of which she entered over at Diddydoodles

The current diddydoodles challenge is to make a 16th birthday card for a girl or boy, Holly used a fab Jellypark image for this one.

Remember for our challenges you don't need to have a blog, we are happy to receive email entries, I will then create a post to showcase email entries on this blog.

Winners announced - Jellypark Juniors 1st Challenge

Good evening to you all. I'm here to announce the winners of the 1st Jellypark Juniors Challenge.

We had 28 wonderful entries how cool is that.
The kids couldn't pick a winner, they both had their own favourites and neither were budging so we came up with an alternative method of choosing. We printed off thumbnail images of all the entries on to a piece of paper and attached it to our dartboard then we threw darts at it. Before we started we decided that if a dart hit the paper and it was obviously closer to one entry than any another then that would be counted as a hit. Amazingly we managed to get our top 3 with only 5 darts and my walls don't have any holes in them so good going that boy :o).

Here are some pictures of how that worked out for us :-

Half way through our 1st Challenge at Jellypark Juniors

We have had such a great response so far for our first challenge at Jellypark Juniors. We are about half way through and myself and the kids from artycraftyland have loved seeing all the wonderful crafty makes, what a bunch of talented kids we have out there in blogland :o)

As we are half way through I thought I would showcase some of the amazing entries that we've had so far.

Jellypark Juniors Challenge Number 1

Welcome to the Jellypark Juniors Challenge Blog.

Jellypark is the brainchild of Claire Keay. Claire is an amazing artist who creates the most wonderful digital stamps, all of which are a pleasure to craft with.

Hi I’m Mel a member of the Jellypark Challenge Design Team, a couple of months ago Claire and I were talking about how much we love to see kids crafting and from that conversation Jellypark Juniors grew.

Our first Jellypark Juniors Challenge is an ANYTHING GOES and when I say anything goes I mean just that, we always love to see cards but if you’ve been creative with your lego or transformed an empty toilet roll holder we’d love to see the results.

Each Challenge will last for one month. At the end of the challenge we will pick a winner and 2 runners up.

We will announce the winner and runners up at the beginning of the next challenge post. We will also where possible, contact you through your blog to let you know that you’ve won or been placed.

Throughout 2012 Jellypark is raising funds for “Little Havens”, each month a different digital stamp will be released into the store and 100% of the sales from that stamp will go to the charity.

The prize for the winner of this challenge is a rather special one. Claire has offered to draw a new digital stamp of the winner’s choice. Once the image has been created the winner will have the opportunity to give the stamp a name before it is released into the store, where it will become that months featured digital stamp for the “Little Havens” Charity. The winner will also receive a copy of the image and a winners badge for their blog or a printable certificate if they don't have a blog.

The 2 runners up will each receive a badge for their blog or a printable certificate if they don't have a blog.

Please note that if you would like your blog badges to be personalised with your name then Claire or myself are happy to do so.

The kids over at artycraftyland have been busy creating, they have each made a card for the blog using a couple of very cute Jellypark images.

We don’t have many rules here as that would be very boring and a bit like being in school but here are a couple of points that you do need to know.

a) For Kids only (age 16 and under)

b) You can enter our challenge as many times as you like (new project per entry please) .

c) We only want to see new projects so no back linking please.

d) There are no restrictions on the amount of challenges you can enter, so spread your arty crafty net wide.

e) Use our little frog linky tool to post your entries. Be sure to link to your challenge post, not just to your blog.

f) You can use someone else's blog, if you are sharing with a stinky brother or annoying sister and you both want to enter make sure you have separate posts for each entry.

DON'T HAVE A BLOG?

g) You can email us an entry to ( jparkjuniors at gmail dot com) email entries will then be included in a blog post on this site at some point during that challenge period. Please include your name and age in the email.

h) When linking up please include your age after your name (ie: Joe 8 )

i) Follow the theme if there is one.

We are delighted to announce that Jellypark Juniors is opening it's doors on Saturday 7th January 2012. Please let others know if you think they may be interested. Anyone under the age of 16 is elligible to enter.

We are very excited to announce that the Jellypark Junior Challenge Blog will be opening it's virtual doors very soon. The kids from arty crafty kids are getting busy making some things for here and as soon as the glue has dried on their projects I will post pics.
